Previously part of the Jury's Hotels group, all hotels enjoy the same great location convenient to the Aviva Stadium, the RDS (Royal Dublin Showgrounds) the Grand Canal Theatre and the O2 There is ample carparking on site and an excellent bus service outside the gates. There is also a taxi rank adjacent to the hotel and most convenient of all is the Dart Station just a short walk away which will have you in the city centre of Dublin in minutes. ACCOMMODATION AT BALLSBRIDGE INN AND TOWERS.There are excellent room rates available at Ballsbridge Inn & Towers, and there are also upgrades to superior suites. We had an executive room on the fifth floor which was bright, spacious and warm. It was a twin room with really comfortable beds, a workspace desk, a sitting area with two easy-chairs, a flat screen television, and a separate cloakroom area with ironing board and iron. Our spacious bathroom had a fantastic power shower over the bath, a magnified make-up mirror, and plenty of towels on a heated towel rail. We were warm, comfortable and cosy and were happy to settle in for the afternoon. With one of us on the laptop and the other watching television, we passed a couple of hours before reading the papers, enjoying a relaxing bath and getting ready for our evening meal.THE DUBLINER BAR We were impressed on our recent visit by the wide choice of dining options at D4 Hotels. The Dubliner Bar is situated in the hotel lobby, and offers a daily Carvery Lunch, sandwiches and snacks, and a full A La Carte and Table D'Hote menu each evening from 5. Room Service is also available. While The Dubliner can be a busy bar and with sports on the television for those who like to eat and drink in a lively atmosphere, this is perfect. Remember, it is just minutes from the new Aviva Stadium. However they also have a seperate dining area adjacent which is quiet and looks out onto the hotel forecourt. This is where we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal. Service was very good, friendly and helpful as we decided between the different options. I had the most delicious Baked Goats Cheese Tartlet with honeyed fig and walnut and rocket salad. I would visit The Dubliner again just for this dish - it was perfectly executed and balanced and full of fresh flavours. We also had some Bread with Dips, a good steak and an Eastern flavoured Organic Salmon Fillet. There are a very wide range of choices, including pizzas, burgers, vegetarian dishes, salads and certainly something to suit every taste. D4 OPTIONS For guests in a hurry, there is an early breakfast option with really delicious things to eat on-the-run. Healthy cookies, sandwiches, juices, freshly baked pastries and of course good coffee and tea. There is also a comfortable lounge serving a full breakfast buffet, with plenty of variety and choice. The hotel offers D4 Stores for picking up those items you might have forgotten to bring, and Blow Hair Salon for getting ready for a special occassion, and they do nails too!
