The first time we visited The D Hotel we were delighted to see how stylish and spacious this new hotel was, sitting dockside beside the Scotch Hall shopping complex.  With the area undergoing extensive restoration, this seemed ideally suited to the contemporary development going on throughout Ireland at the time.
While things have changed in recent times, and some of the development has been put on hold, the D Hotel continues to thrive and has become a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.
