With the New Year we begin to look forward to Springtime - and of course romance comes into the air with Valentines Day just around the corner.  We have been searching for a really Romantic Wine to celebrate this lovely occassion.  We found it among the great TORRES wines and are delighted to be able to offer a twin pack of this gorgeous wine to six lucky people to suitably celebrate this special day of romance.

The red wine is San Valentin Garnacha.  It is a smooth, silky, fruity wine which is ideal with cheese and poultry.  Garnacha Tinta is the most cultivated Mediterranean grape worldwide. 

The white wine is made from the Parellada grape.  It is fruity and aromatic with a clear pale yellow colour.  Perfect with fish in sweet sauces, and sweet pastries.

Both wines are ideal for that special Saint Valentine's Day meal.

The wines were created by Miguel Torres Carbo as a gift to his wife, Margarita Riera, on Saint Valentine's Day.  They feature a cupid hanging from the bottleneck - which together with the fantastic quality and value-for-money, make it the ultimate wine to share with loved ones on Valentine's Day.
