When you want to get out into the heart of Ireland’s most beautiful countryside, there are few hotels that have that magical recipe you are looking for.  We found Lisloughrey Lodge, an independent four star boutique hotel, had that special way of affording us the chance to totally chill out in great style.

Lisloughrey Lodge is set on a ten acre site adjacent to Ashford Castle and overlooking  Lisloughrey Quay. Perched on the north shore of Ireland’s most beautiful lake Lough Corrib, not only is the area a fisherman’s dream, it is also perfect for walking, enjoying nature, horse-riding, playing golf and even taking a fabulous cruise on the lake. The largest lake in Ireland, Lough Corrib measures 68 sq. miles, is home to 365 islands and is one of the most unspoilt and scenic lakes in Europe.
