Carlow Hotels

Mount Wolseley Carlow
It is the road less travelled, in my experience. The road that is, to beautiful County Carlow, a lush and lovely east-midlands pocket of Ireland that is not too far from anywhere really, but somehow still undiscovered ... read the review of Mount Wolseley Carlow

Cavan Hotels

Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club
When looking for a great hotel in Cavan, we were very pleased with the Slieve Russell. We loved the extensive gardens, the friendly service, the fabulous spa and our very comfortable bedroom. While we did not play golf during our visit, we did enjoy some excellent treatments in the spa, and would recommend the hotel for a good spa break, a family friendly holiday, and it is certainly very popular for weddings.... read the review of the Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club, Cavan

Kildare Hotels

Carton House, Maynooth, Kildare

Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa - Kildare
There are a lot of reasons why Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa is high on our list of favourite hotels in Ireland. Due to the location, a mere twenty minutes from Dublin (if you are not too unlucky with the traffic), it is the ideal base for business or pleasure on Ireland’s east coast. Then you also have the main road heading south just five minutes away, which means you can be in Cork or Limerick in a couple of hours...read the review of Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa, Naas - Kildare

Moyvalley House, Moyvalley, Kildare
Driving up to Moyvalley Hotel through the mature trees and lush grassland, it was difficult to believe we were only 40 minutes from the busy city centre. It took us no time at all to reach the hotel taking the M4 from Dublin... Moyvalley House, Moyvalley, Kildare

The Westgrove Hotel Naas Kildare

Tipperary Hotels

Baileys of Cashel, Tipperary
For a number of years Baileys of Cashel was our favourite “pit-stop” when driving throughout Ireland, as the food there was exceptional. Situated in the centre of the country, if we were not actually passing through we often made a detour to visit Cashel, as we loved Baileys so much... read the review of Baileys of Cashel

Meath Hotels

Hamlet Court Hotel - Meath
We were enjoying a fine breakfast, remarking how the freshly baked scones were so warm and crumbly, when I heard the lady at the next table say to her partner “this place was a great find, wasn’t it?”... Read the review of Hamlet Court - Meath
