  • “ Thank you so much for all of your help with the wedding organisation, we had an absolutely brilliant day. The staff were amazing, so attentive and pleasant at all times. We felt like royalty all day long! “

  • "Jaco and I want to thank all the staff at the Clarence, for all your hospitality, and service to us, our families and guests before, during and after our wedding. We want to thank you for your attention to detail, care, responsiveness, and star service shown to us from the moment we booked our wedding in the Clarence. All the staff provided a high level of service over the celebrations to us and our guests, and we wish to thank them all for that. We thank you for the day running so smoothly. The food, service and delivery were impeccable and all our guests had nothing but positive feedback to give on everything.
    Thanks again and best wishes."

  • "I just wanted to mail and say thanks to you and the rest of the staff at the Clarence for the part you played in making our wedding day a huge sucess. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel exceptionally welcome, and it seemed as if nothing was too much trouble. Our guests were also delighted with the reception, and several of them have since commented that they would recommend the Clarence for future events! We got lots of compliments about the food as well. So thanks again - we had a ball - and are delighted we chose the Clarence as the venue."
    best wishes

  • "Just a few lines to thank you all for the lovely wedding reception we had last Thursday. We both had a great day and our guests were all very complimentary about the food and the wonderful friendly service that was provided. We would especially like to thank you for the delicious vegan and vegetarian menus. The ambience in The Clarence Room for a winter wedding was cosy and warm. Thank you for helping us have an enjoyable and memorable day. The hotel is the perfect location for a Dublin wedding; all your guests can jump in a taxi outside if they wish to go home early. For a couple, who only looked at one hotel we are so glad we didn’t spend weekends wandering round loads of others hotels. We found the perfect one.

  • The Clarence Hotel is a great location for couples looking to hold intimate urban weddings.
The hotel has a number of wedding options, including seasonal wedding packages which are designed for 50 guests or more, and are priced at €125.00 per person and a special menu for younger guests. Reception drinks have been tailored to suit each wedding package.

Also included in the price is a four course seasonal wedding meal, developed by Executive Chef Mathieu Melin, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person, followed by a glass of Champagne after the meal to toast the bride and groom.

    WEDDING MENUS

Clarence wedding menus are carefully tailored to suit each season and include a range of delicious offerings such as nicoise salad with grilled loin of tuna, roasted plum tomato soup, with basil and mascarpone, pan fried fillet of Irish beef, served with scallion mash, sauté spinach and Madeira jus and raspberry chocolate tart, served with a refreshing raspberry sorbet, specially selected for springtime weddings. The summer menu features warm goats cheese crostini, with aubergine caviar, in a light tomato dressing, chilled Gazpacho soup, roasted fillet of salmon, with a crisp fennel salad and sauce bois bourdan and a deliciously creamy vanilla panacotta, with exotic fruit salad, flavoured with coriander.

Autumn brides can chose from delicious seasonal delicacies like chicken and foie gras terrine, with apple and raisin chutney, served on warm toasted brioche, wild mushroom soup with tarragon and Madeira, roasted breast of Barbarie duck, with orange and almond crumble and warm araguari chocolate fondant, with guanaja sauce, served with Guinness ice cream. The warming winter selection includes a warm salad of quail ‘satay’, served with onion risotto and truffle foam, bisque of Dublin Bay prawn, roasted loin of venison, with sweet and sour cabbage and cranberry sauce and warm chocolate tart, served with orange marmalade ice cream. Each menu includes after dinner coffee or a selection of teas, with handmade chocolate truffles.

CLARENCE SUITE AND THE TEA ROOM RESTAURANT

Located on the first floor of the hotel, the luxurious Clarence Suite offers a stunning area overlooking the River Liffey for a most memorable wedding reception. This beautiful space accommodates up to 77 guests for a meal and up to 120 guests for evening receptions, with private dining choices ranging from a simple selection of canapés to a five course dinner with an extensive wine list.
For an alternative wedding reception, the historic Tea Room restaurant, with its 20 foot coved ceiling, has an uncluttered spacious interior and a great atmosphere. The Tea Room restaurant can be hired out exclusively and holds up to 120 guests. Whether you choose to dine in The Clarence Suite or The Tea Room, each menu will be designed courtesy of Executive Chef Mathieu Melin.

The hotel’s Study is the perfect place for welcoming guests to your special event. Guests will have exclusive access to this area for up to an hour before the meal is served. Reception drinks can be tailored to suit all needs and will be complemented by a selection of the finest canapés.
Alternatively this space can be used for blessings and civil ceremonies* for smaller weddings, together with the Back Bar area of the hotel’s famous Octagon Bar as a more informal drinks reception area.

To make the day complete, the bride and groom will also receive a suite for their wedding night with the hotel’s compliments.

The Clarence Hotel is the perfect venue for stylish, bijoux weddings, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, without all the pomp and ceremony. The hotel’s bespoke wedding packages offer excellent value for money and guarantee bridal parties will enjoy every moment of their special day.
